Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation Residency Program
Thank you for your interest in the orthopaedic surgery residency program at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. The program is accredited for five years of training with five individuals at each level. The program has the full support of the Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation faculty and staff.
We accept applications for the match each year only through ERAS. Should you have questions regarding ERAS, please contact your dean's office. International medical school applicants should apply through the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates and must be ECFMG certified before our application deadline. The following items are required to complete your electronic application:
- Dean's Letter and MSPE
- Three Electronic Standardized Letters of Recommendation (eSLOR)
- Medical School Transcript
- USMLE Report
- Personal statement
- ECFMG certification (IMG only)
The deadline for completed applications is October 1st for the Residency Match Season. All applications will be screened, and invitations to interview will be extended on the AOA CORD Universal Offer Date. All applicants receive notification of the status of their application. Interviews are conducted in January.
